Please note that the on-line registration service is now closed. You still have the possibility to register, using the pdf version of the registration form and send it by fax. However, we cannot guarantee that all registration forms will be processed before the event. Any other request can be made on-site at the registration counters in Viger Foyer (Level 5) at the Palais des congrès of Montréal, starting Monday July 7, at 7:30 a.m.
Participants may also download the printable version of the Registration Form from and send it by fax or mail, together with their payment information to the Vision 2008 Conference Secretariat.

Group registration
ISLRR Members and Non-members have until June 1, 2008 to register a group. A special group rate is available for groups of 10 persons and more.

(1) Membership status will be checked by the ISLRR Office. Only duly registered members will be able to take advantage of this reduced rate. For ISLRR membership information and forms, please « click here » - Please note that it may take up to 10 days to process new ISLRR memberships.
(2) Students are required to provide a document proving they are registered at a recognized school or educational institution. A limited number of travel fellowships will be provided by Vision 2008. For details, please « click here »
Note: All participants who are not pre-registered before June 27, 2008 will have to register on site.
Terms of payment
- All participants in Conference activities must be registered for Vision 2008 (except for tours where non-registered guests are allowed).
- All payments must be made in Canadian dollars (CAD).
- Payments can be made by credit card (secure payment page), cheque or bank transfer.
- Registration will only be valid upon receipt of the full payment by the Vision 2008 Conference Secretariat.
- Registration fees will apply according to the date of receipt of the payment.
- Outstanding payments will be collected on site. A copy of the bank transfer (or other proof of payment) will be required in the event that registration fees were not credited to the Conference account on time. A credit card and a signature could be required as a guarantee.
Payment by credit card: Only VISA and Mastercard are accepted. In the event of a calculation error, opus 3 / Vision 2008 reserves the right to amend the total owing.
Payment by cheque: All cheques must be sent with the transaction number and registered name (or a copy of the invoice could be sent along with the cheque) to accelerate the registration process and to ensure payment is allocated to the correct booking. Cheques must be sent in Canadian dollars and made payable to Vision 2008 / opus 3.

If you have registered on-line, please quote your transaction number (on your invoice) from the on-line registration to enable us to allocate the payment to the relevant booking.
Note : If you are planning to pay by bank transfer, please add CAD 25 to the total amount to cover banking administrative fees.
Registration confirmation
All participants registered on-line, by fax or by mail, will receive a confirmation of their registration as well as all information regarding the status of their registration file. Registration will be considered complete and valid upon reception of full payment of fees.
Name substitutions
Name substitutions of registered participants will be accepted at any time with the written authorization of the registered person at an extra charge of CAD 50. All requests should be sent by e-mail to the Vision 2008 Conference Secretariat at
vision2008-reg@opus3.com.
Note: Presenting authors of accepted abstracts may only be substituted after approval of a written request addressed to the Scientific Secretariat Vision 2008 at: ask_iris@vision2008.ca
Cancellation policy
Any cancellation must be sent in writing to the Vision 2008 Conference Secretariat.
Refund of registrations fees
There will be a charge of 20% of the registration fees total for cancellations received before June 7, 2008 (23:59, Montréal local time). There will be no refund for cancellations received after June 8, 2008 (00:00, Montréal local time).
Refund of social activities and tours
There will be no refund for cancellations at anytime unless the activity is cancelled by the organizers.
Note: No refund will be processed on site.
Badges and bags
Conference Badges and Bags will be available at the Conference Registration desk.
